Dr. Jacopo Buti

Jacopo Buti graduated at the School of Dentistry, University of Florence (Italy) in 2004 where he was Assistant Professor in Periodontics from 2007 to 2009. He completed his PhD in Applied Statistics in 2011. He is registered as a specialist (Italy) in Odontostomatological Surgery since 2015.

He joined the University of Manchester, School of Dentistry in 2011, where he was Clinical Teaching Fellow in Periodontics and Dissertation Tutor. He is now Clinical Lecturer in Periodontology, involved in postgraduate education and clinical training for the University's MSc in Periodontics (Year 1 Lead) and in undergradute teaching. His research activity is focused on periodontology, implant dentistry and biostatistics applied to dental topics with particular emphasis on study design, development of systematic reviews, network meta-analysis and randomized controlled trials. Jacopo is author of several publications on national and international peer-reviewed journals in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry.
